Our
Story

Get to Know Us

Wings For Hope was established in 2021 after two local women who had personally suffered domestic and family violence recognised a need for programmes that focused on empowering and restoring self-worth.

Women who have experienced violence in the home or by family members frequently feel alone and have little to no self-worth. By putting our values of courage, respect, commitment/ connection, empowerment, and compassion into action, we will make sure they are seen, heard, and believed.

We will stand by them and provide the highest level of assistance to ensure that they never feel abandoned. Giving victims of domestic and family violence a person-centred, supportive service enables them to heal from their experiences and, ideally, develop loving and satisfying relationships with those around them. This empowers victims to become survivors.
